Orange it has reinforced its television offering with the exclusive incorporation of FlixOlé, the Spanish video-on-demand platform, the launch of three new channels for children and millennials, and the presentation of its new 4K HDR decoder with Android TV. In addition, the French operator announced the next addition of Amazon Prime Video.
The French operator it has exclusively incorporated FlixOlé, the first Spanish video-on-demand platform with more than 3,000 series and movies, which is integrated directly into the Orange TV interface, and costs 2.99 euros per month. As a launch promotion, customers will have the first month free of charge.
"FlixOlé not only makes available to the public the whole history of our cinema, including works impossible to find because they are already out of print, but is a way to preserve forever our film history fully restored in HD," said Enrique Cerezo, maximum responsible for the platform.
The Orange television platform also incorporates three new Premium packages dedicated to children, millennials and fans of lifestyle channels, in addition to music and sports added in summer.
Like these, they can be hired in addition to the customer's entry offer (Orange TV Cinema and Series, Orange TV Soccer and / or Movistar League of Champions). They can be enjoyed by all Orange TV users for free during the month of November. Subsequently, Millenial will cost 5 euros per month and includes with the U-BEAT channel for lovers of e-sports, the Havoc channel, Adult Swim or Viceland. The Children's channel costs 3 euros per month with access to LollyKids exclusively with Orange TV, Canal Panda or Cartoon Network. And LifeStyle will also have a price of 3 euros per month with OUTtv exclusively with Orange TV, My Zen TV, Escapa TV or FTV UHD.
Samuel Muñoz, general director of Marketing of Orange has announced, also, that soon incorporate the contents of Amazon Prime Video, the service of the giant of electronic commerce.
Finally, Orange has started to market a new decoder with Android TV system, which makes the Orange television platform the first one that integrates it into one of its decoders. Thanks to the incorporation of this software, the new device will allow the user to download the Google Play Store apps available for Android TV.
Likewise, this system differs from others due to the greater agility and simplicity in the integration of third-party applications, which opens up a wide range of possibilities for use by Orange customers. The device includes a useful voice search engine – so that the user can find and enjoy its contents easily and immediately -, as well as integrated Chromecast – to send content to the TV from any compatible Android device.
