The price of a barrel of OPEC crude stood at 60.08 dollars on Wednesday, 1.65% (1.01 dollars) less than the previous day, the energy group in Vienna said today.
With this drop, the barrel of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) reduced part of the most recent increases that had accumulated at the beginning of the week.
In addition, it coincides with a message on Twitter from US President Donald Trump, who urged OPEC on Wednesday not to cut production.
The OPEC Oil Ministers and several other allied producer countries meet between now and tomorrow in Vienna to analyze the situation in the market.
The expectation that they decide to cut their supplies to stop the recent fall of the "petroprecios" had encouraged prices in previous days.
