Only 18% of companies believe that this year there will be a recovery

The coronavirus hit the Spanish economy hard, with a drop in GDP of around 11%, according to forecasts, while 7.5% of employment was destroyed in labor matters. Not counting the ERTEs, which keep a large part of the Spanish population anesthetized. Although a rebound was expected in 2021, the third wave is causing the forecasts to be less rosy than expected. So alone 18.1% of companies believe that this year there will be a recovery, according to the barometer carried out by the # EActíVate initiative and the Valencian Institute of Economic Research (Ivie), in which 840 companies have participated.
