The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands has recorded this Sunday a death from covid-19 and 150 new infections, with a increase in active cases from 140 to 4,469, the highest number since November 11.

The 217 patients are admitted, of which 41 are in intensive care and 176 on the floor.

The cumulative incidence in the last 14 days per 100,000 inhabitants is 76.6 cases and the incidence of cases in 7 days is 39.4.

In the case of the 7-day incidence, two islands exceed the Canary Islands average: Tenerife with 65.5 and La Gomera with 55.8.

Since the pandemic began, they have been registered in the Canary Islands 20,985 infections, with 338 deaths and 16,178 discharges medical.

In Tenerife there are 3,058 active cases, in Gran Canaria 1,261, in Fuerteventura 63, in Lanzarote 60, in La Gomera 15, in La Palma 9, and in El Hierro 2
