The accumulated cases of coronavirus in the Canary Islands have exceeded 12,000 this Monday, until 12,059, with one death, three admissions to intensive care and 127 new infections in the last 24 hours.
The 133 medical discharges in the last hours have reduced the active cases to 6,861, seven less than Sunday, according to health data.
In total, 271 people are hospitalized, of which 59 are in intensive care and 212 on the ward.
Of the 12,059 affected by covid-19 registered in the islands since the beginning of the pandemic, 215 have died and 4,983 have been discharged.
By islands, Gran Canaria accumulates 6,808 cases (4,785 of them active), Tenerife 3,453 (1,576 active), Lanzarote 1,024 (334 active), Fuerteventura 522 (134 assets), La Palma 174 (12 active), El Hierro 46 (7 active) and La Gomera 32 (13 active).
