San Juan, Feb 5 (EFE) .- Puerto Rican artist Olga Tañón launches a new version of her 2005 hit “How to forget” with urban singer Jay Wheeler, reggaeton pioneer DJ Nelson and music producer Eliot Feliciano “Mago D Oz “.
Tañón has reported this Friday through a statement that with this version he wants to reissue the success of 2005, when “How to forget” became an anthem in his international artistic career.
Tañón, who has set records with 27 singles in the top 10 of the Billboard Tropical Airplay charts, has won 2 Grammy Awards and 4 Latin Grammy Awards, and is also the top winner of Premio Lo Nuestro with more than 30 statuettes to her credit.
The statement highlights that “How To Forget 2021 version” takes on a new “color” with the addition of the subtle and contagious voice of Jay Wheeler and the experience and musical legacy of DJ Nelson and Mago D Oz.
Both interpreters, Puerto Ricans and representatives of completely different genres, managed to create a combination under the production of Mago D Oz.
For his part, Jay Wheeler, one of the new talents with the most digital consumption of the moment, joins the female singer in a genre practically unexplored by Wheeler, the merengue, but in which he could walk as an expert.
Tañón thus marks the beginning of this new stage, in which he will relaunch new versions of the greatest hits of his artistic career.
“How To Forget 2021 version” will feature an official video recorded under the direction of Héctor Figueroa, creator of countless hits, executive produced by Billy Denizard and co-produced by DJ Nelson himself.
The video is now available on the official YouTube channel of “La Tañón”.
Tañón will soon present to the market his new digital album in the romantic style.
“How to forget version 2021” is available from today on all digital platforms.
