Nightlife venues will not be able to open their doors in areas that enter phase 3 of the de-escalation, according to the order published this Saturday in the BOE, despite the fact that the plan approved by the Council of Ministers on April 28 provided for that they could start doing it with limited capacity.
The National Federation of Leisure and Entertainment Entrepreneurs Spain at Night, which has declared its incomprehension and perplexity at the decision, has demanded direct dialogue with the Ministry of Health to analyze de-escalation in the sector.
After recently presenting a plan of measures for the reduction of sanitary hygiene risks against COVID-19 in its premises, together with the Institute for Tourism Quality and the support of the Ministry of Industry, the sector hopes to have this direct dialogue with the Administration before a large part of the national territory enters phase 3 as of Monday, June 8.
As part of the isolation flexibility measures for the territories that go to phase 3, the BOE publishes this Saturday that “it may proceed to open to the public the hospitality and catering establishments for consumption on the premises, except for discotheque premises and nightlife bars, provided that they do not exceed 50 percent of their capacity and the planned conditions are met. “
