The Austrian Nicole Schmidhofer who got her first victory of her career downhill at the start of the season in Lake Louise (CAN), proved again in a great way to win the Super-G victory in Garmisch. Today is his third victory of the season and his fifth podium.

In her first race after suffering an ankle fracture before the start of the competition season, the Italian Sofia Goggia managed to return to the podium taking second place, just 0.23 seconds behind the winner. She commented that she was not even sure of running in Garmisch, where she had gone to test her ankle and her ski in the descent training. But after his good results in training on Thursday and Friday, he made the decision to compete in the Super-G. That decision was definitely worth it and his first podium in 2019.

Lara Gut-Behrami of Switzerland reminded fans that she is still a serious contender for victory in the Super-G category after getting her second podium of the season.
