Nicolás Muller, the photographer who escaped Nazism to portray life beyond wars
This is an exhibition that is born in a drawer. In 2015, when the Muller studio in Madrid was closed for good, her daughter found a forgotten graphic testimony in the back of a closet. Ana Muller, also a photographer and assistant to many of her father's tasks in the studio, discovered 3,000 negatives in envelopes with small signatures indicating the country in which they were taken. France, Morocco, Spain… The legacy of the Hungarian reporter, which until then was believed to be limited to the documents kept in the Regional Archives, was multiplied in a matter of seconds.
