New blood donation points in Gran Canaria, Tenerife and Fuerteventura

The Canarian Institute of Hemodonation and Hemotherapy (ICHH) has this week its blood donation campaign available to citizens in Gran Canaria, Tenerife and Fuerteventura, enabling different time points to donate, according to the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands.

To donate blood, you must request an appointment by calling 012 or 922 470 012/928 301 012, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. or by filling in the form published on the website efectodonacion.com. In addition, before going to donate it is advisable to review the information published on this page, to become familiar with the established security measures and the self-evaluation test.

In addition to the fixed donation points, in Gran Canaria the donation campaign continues in the municipality of Ingenio, at the headquarters of the Las Majoreras Folkloric Group, from 10 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 8:45 p.m., Monday to Friday . There will also be a donation device in the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium, in the capital of Gran Canaria, which will remain open from Monday to Friday from 9.45 am to 2 pm and from 4.45 pm to 9 pm.

In Santa Lucía de Tirajana, the extraction point located in the Atlántico Shopping Center will continue to operate from Monday to Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. In addition, you can donate in San Bartolomé de Tirajana, at the point located in the Bellavista Shopping Center, from Monday to Friday from 10.15 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and from 5.15 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. Finally, on Friday you can donate in Telde, at the point located in the Alcampo Shopping Center, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.

In Fuerteventura, the temporary donation point will be installed in the municipality of Puerto del Rosario, in the Teaching Support Unit (former Popular University), Dr. Fleming street, number 1. The hours will be from Monday to Wednesday from 4:45 to 21 (except on Tuesday when the room will open from 5.30 pm) and Thursday and Friday from 9.45 am to 2.00 pm. The campaign will continue until August 6.
