Nestlé and Alliance for YOUth offer 215,000 jobs and training opportunities in Europe


Nestlé and the European partners of the Alliance for YOUth have offered more than 215,000 employment and training opportunities in the last three years, approaching its goal of providing 230,000 opportunities to young people in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa between 2017 and 2020.

“Since the beginning of the initiative in 2014, we have brought together 340 partners throughout the Emena region. We will continue to promote this alliance as an equitable option for young people, ”he said. in a statement the CEO of Nestlé for the Emena area, Marco Settembri.

In addition, Alliance for YOUth, under the leadership of the EY company, is joining forces with Junior Achievement (JA) Europe, the largest provider of business education in Europe, to help young Europeans acquire business skills.

The challenge of this collaboration is to support 500 students in obtaining the ‘Entrepreneurial Skills Pass’, international qualification driven by JA.

In Spain, about 3,000 young people under 30 have benefited from the ‘Global Youth Initiative: Nestlé needs Youth’ initiative since it was launched in Europe in 2014.

Thus, since 2017 more than 1,350 people they have had training and employment opportunities, and more than 96% of the 1,400 new job and training opportunities with which Nestlé Spain committed in the 2017-2020 period have already been offered.

European partners include the following companies: Adecco Group, AXA, Cargill, DHL, DS Smith, Endress + Hauser, ENGIE, EY, Facebook, Firmenich, Metro Group, Microsoft, Nestlé, Nielsen, Publicis Groupe, Salesforce, Solvay and White & Case To date, more than 340 companies across Europe have joined this alliance.
