FC Barcelona has closed the transfer of the Colombian central, Jeison Murillo until the end of the season in exchange for two million euros. The Blaugrana team has a purchase option 25 million euros about the player, who can exercise if he decides to have the player under his ownership.
The team led by Ernesto Valverde has had to go to the winter market to reinforce his defensive back, more specifically the position of the centrals, due to the losses of the Belgian, Thomas Vermaelen, and the dubious physical condition of the Frenchman, Samuel Umtiti. Barcelona has opted for this player for his good physical and defensive conditions, taking advantage of the lack of minutes this season was suffering the Colombian in the set che (has only played 3 games so far this season between all competitions).
Jeison Murillo is 26 years old and he has spent most of his career in our league. From a very young age he started playing in the UD Las Palmas, from there it happened to Pomegranate and his good performance led him to a big European look at him, Inter Milan. He was central of the Italian team until, in the 2017-18 season he returned to the Spanish league to play for Valencia. Now he comes to Barcelona as a loan and it will be the fourth shirt of a Spanish team that is holstered.
