Multiple services of the multinational Alphabet, Google’s parent company, have suffered falls worldwide this Monday. The failures have been reported by users in several countries shortly before 1:00 p.m. and are affecting their email, the search engine, YouTube, the video calling or cloud storage service and various processes of the Android mobile operating system.
The Downdetector website, specialized in receiving this type of notifications about failures in digital services by users, has begun to register the first ones at around 12:36 in the morning. Around 12.50 the problem was already massive. One of the highest concentrations of warnings is taking place in Europe, but according to Downdetector, notifications have also arrived from the east coast of the US, South America or Japan.
