Most of the reserves of the Cabañeros National Park exaggerate their deer population to hunt more specimens

Almost half of the Cabañeros National Park is private hunting grounds. And although hunting is an activity incompatible with these protected areas, Cabañeros is a legal exception: every year numerous hunts continue to take place on these private farms to kill deer or wild boar, partly justified in their excessive number. However, most private reserves have been inflating the populations of game species that they declared on their land, according to an internal report from the National Parks Agency accessed by elDiario.es.
