More than 4,000 people join Correos, which calls for another 3,421 places

More than 4,000 people have joined this Wednesday a fixed job in the Post Office, within the operational categories of motorized and foot delivery in urban and rural areas, classification agent and customer service in offices, and has called for another 3,421 plazas.
As reported by Correos through a statement, of the 4,005 permanent jobs, 1,896 will perform urban distribution and rural motorized services, 722 will perform urban distribution and rural non-motorized services, 725 will occupy positions of classification agents, and Lastly, 662 will carry out customer service functions.
The company has highlighted that more than 166,000 people signed up to carry out the selection tests that took place simultaneously in 29 locations on January 19.
The eliminatory tests were related to matters related to Correos' products, services and work processes.
The selection process was completed with a subsequent merit phase in which experience, driving licenses (if applicable), and the training necessary for the proper performance of the job have been assessed.
Correos has highlighted that with the coverage of these 4,005 permanent jobs they show their commitment to the creation of stable employment "as the best guarantee to continue offering the best service to all citizens".
Precisely, in line with this commitment to stable employment, Correos has already called for 3,421 other permanent workforce positions in operational categories.
According to Correos, it is a joint call that includes the positions corresponding to the replacement rates approved for the year 2019 (1,421 places), as well as 2,000 positions of those contemplated in the temporary employment stabilization plan 2018-2020.
