More than 400 firefighters today fight a forest fire declared in the municipality of Tomar, in the center of Portugal, where 125 land-extinguishing vehicles and seven aerial means are also deployed.
According to Civil Protection information, the fire started at 16.11 local time (15.11 GMT) and due to the wind blowing in the area it has spread to the neighboring municipality of Abrantes.
