Montesinos assures that the PP is not going to accept the "blackmail" of the Government and requires Ábalos to ask for "apologies"

In an interview on Telecinco, collected by Europa Press, the 'popular' leader has made it clear that "not everything goes" and has demanded the Minister of Transport, Mobility and the Urban Agenda, José Luis Ábalos, to ask for "apologies" for his " accusations "to the PP.

Specifically, Montesinos has thus referred to the statements of Ábalos on Monday in Moncloa, where he assured that "to ignore" the extension of the state of alarm was to condemn the Spanish to chaos. "If they trust that it will go ahead (the new extension) for the support of other groups, it is that they have chosen to place themselves in the field of irresponsibility," the minister warned.

In this sense, the PP deputy secretary regretted that Ábalos expressed himself in these terms just "a few minutes after" the party's leader, Pablo Casado, spoke by telephone with the chief executive, Pedro Sánchez.

THE GOVERNMENT HAS ALTERNATIVE "TOOLS" TO THE STATE OF ALARM

"A conversation ensues and then what we receive is an attack from the press room of the Palacio de la Moncloa by the government," Montesinos said, who has insisted on demanding a rectification by Ábalos. "Enough of threats and blackmail," he added.

In this context, Montesinos recalled that the request that Casado made to Sánchez this was to disassociate the payment of the ERTES from the extension of the state of alarm, a measure also required by Citizens.

Asked if there is an alternative to the state of alarm itself, the 'popular' deputy has referred to the National Security Law, the Civil Protection Law, and the Public Health Law to ensure that the Government has tools to "guarantee the single command in health matters. "

"It could also take the appropriate measures regarding the mobility control of the Spanish. That is the reality. What we are experiencing so far is that the Government says that it does not have Plan B, but it has not had Plan A. This Government It has been characterized by chaos when making decisions, "Montesinos has criticized.
