MM SA Paynhelp.com Scam Warning

Paynhelp.com are using competitions promoted on Facebook to subscribe you to services without your authority, taking subscription payments from your bank account.

This is a warning to people to please be careful to whom they give their bank card details.

On 4th November I was sent a link by a friend who thought it was for a competition to win a food processor from Lidl. The link was as follows: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=420929466261530&id=113193027035177&sfnsn=scwspwa.

This link no longer works, however. The link took me into a competition page, where it said I had won a food mixer and that they just needed some details to be able to send me my prize. I know I was stupid and I have never done anything like this in my life, but one moment of being a bit absentminded, has resulted in me losing money.

They, MM SA paynhelp.com, requested my bank card details so I could pay 1,50€ for postage. As soon as I had put my card details in, I knew it was wrong, but it was too late. As well as taking the 1,50€ out of my account on that day, they then proceeded to debit a further 49,90€ from my account on 7th November.

I have e-mailed https://paynhelp.com/ and asked them to return my money that they illegally took from my account, and they replied with:

“Dear user,
I confirm that the subscription with the merchant is cancelled.
No further charges are going to be made
As stated in the terms and conditions that you accepted on the payment page: you have purchased a 3-day trial subscription at 1.50 euros with renewal at 49.90 euros
If I can be of assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Best regards,
Payment Angel
Sebastian “

I DID NOT at any time ‘purchase’ said subscription, they are liars and thieves and need to be stopped before they do the same thing to others.

Avoid any competition promoted on Facebook. If it sounds too good to be true, it is too good to be true and you will lose your money!

I repeat DO NOT give your card details to MM SA paynhelp.com.
