David is seven years old and has a heart ailment that forces him to live in quiet environments and avoid shocks. His family has moved to a lot away from almost everything, in Arkansas. His father, Jacob, is convinced that they will make a fortune if they endeavor to cultivate a garden with typical Korean vegetables, which they could sell in restaurants and specialty stores. His mother, Mónica, does not see with good eyes being so far from any hospital and believes that the vital and economic project in which her husband has embarked them is making waters everywhere.
