The president of the Central Independent Trade Union and of Officials (CSIF), Miguel Borra, has been re-elected this Thursday for this same position in the IX National General Congress of the union, where he only attended as an applicant.
The election of Borra has taken place in Valladolid, with the assistance of 470 compromisarios and will be closed this afternoon by the president of the PP and candidate for the Presidency of the Government, Pablo Casado, and the president of the Junta de Castilla y León, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco
In his speech before the plenary, Borra has said that the vote of the 2.5 million public employees will return to be decisive in the next general elections "and has warned the parties that they will read" with magnifying glass the programs " .
CSIF's priorities for the next 4 years are the recovery of 19 percent of lost purchasing power, 35 hours, voluntary retirement at 65 years and the reform of the Trade Union Law, the union has added in a statement.
Miguel Borra Izquierdo, born in Zaragoza in 1968, has a degree in Economics, Applied Economics from the University of Zaragoza and a Master in Quality Management in Public Administration from the UNED.
He belongs to the Technical Body of the Administrative Function in the Madrid Health Service (SERMAS) and was elected for the first time president of CSIF on November 30, 2011, at the VII National General Congress.
Alongside Borra, Antonio Díaz García has been appointed national vice president and Begoña Montero Medina national general secretary.
