Mexico exceeds 200,000 infections and 25,000 deaths from COVID-19



Mexico this Thursday exceeded 200,000 confirmed cases and 25,000 deaths due to COVID-19 with the 6,104 new infections and 736 deaths recorded this day by the Health authorities.

Since the start of the pandemic on February 28, Mexico has accumulated 202,951 confirmed cases and 25,060 deaths, authorities reported at a press conference at the National Palace in Mexico City.

The infections doubled in 22 days, practically, from the 101,238 infections announced on June 3, while the deaths doubled 20 days, from 12,545 on June 4.
