'Meu amigo Fela' opens in the Elder Museum the projections of the V Casa Africa Show – La Provincia

The story of Nigerian musician and activist Fela Kuti, narrated through a Brazilian documentary production, Meu Friend Fela, which is based on the voice and memories of his friend and official biographer, the Afro-Cuban Carlos Moore, is the tape that opens today Thursday, at 6:00 p.m., in the Elder Museum of Science, the V Casa Africa Cinema Show. A cycle of projections held until Sunday, November 10. The selected works are three documentaries, three short films and four fiction films in which different themes and genres are addressed. Among them, The Burial of Kojo, by Blitz Bazawule; Belly flop, from Jeremy Collins, 2018; or the Ethiopian-Israeli co-production Fig tree, from Aäläm-Wärqe Davidian.
