Max Verstappen wins the United States Grand Prix

Dutch Max verstappen (Red Bull) brought out champion wood at United States Grand Prix and endorsed a defeat that hurts his rival for the Formula 1 title, the seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), whose race at the Circuit of the Americas fell short.

‘Mad’ Max, who started from pole, used an undercut (overtaking the first pit stop) to overcome his rival, who had previously snatched the lead of the test in the initial lap. Red Bull took risks at the Austin track and ambition led them to win a tactical but exciting race.

In the absence of five tests, twelve points separate both drivers in a duel that will have its next installment in Mexico.

With the traffic light green, the Briton stole his wallet, the Dutchman sent him inside and the seven-time champion lengthened the braking, forcing the Red Bull to go outside and lose the place.

Behind, another duel between Carlos Sainz and the two McLaren. The Madrilenian, who started fifth on soft tires (forced by qualifying), tried to defend his position, but in that controversial and confusing maneuver he had to give the position to Australian Daniel Ricciardo and argued with the stewards about whether he also had to hand it over to Lando Norris.
