The director ‘The good side of things’, David O. Russell, prepare a new movie with Christian bale, with whom he has previously worked on ‘The Great American Scam’ and ‘The Fighter’. They are now joined by Margot Robbie, star of the latest DC movie ‘Birds of Prey’ and ‘The Scandal’, a job for which she was nominated for an Oscar as best supporting actress.
As reported The wrap, the interpreter, who has also recently worked on the Tarantino film Once upon a time in … Hollywood, will join the director for this new production, of which at the moment few details are known.
As previously reported Collider, the plot of the film will revolve around the relationship between a doctor or a doctor or a lawyer, which could be the roles of Bale and Robbie. The film will be produced by Matthew Budman with a script by David O. Russell himself.
In addition to his work in the Harley Quinn movie Birds of prey, and of her role in the Tarantino movie, recently the actress has worked on the films ‘Dreamland’ (2019) and ‘María, Queen of Scotland’ (2018). Soon he will appear in the second part of ‘Suicide Squad’, a film in which he will repeat his role as Harley Quinn under the command of James Gunn (‘Guardians of the Galaxy’).
The last movie directed by Russell was Joy, starring Jennifer Lawrence in 2015. Among other director’s titles are also ‘Strange coincidences’, ‘Three kings’, ‘Flirting with the disaster’ or the short film ‘Past Forward’.
The new O. Russell project will be produced by New Regency and distributed by 20th Century Studios.
