The Colombian reguetonero Maluma met several celebrities today in Medellin at a charity gala, in which he raised funds to "transform the lives of young people" through his foundation, The Art of Dreams.
The interpreter served as host of honor for the "The Global Gift Gala", a philanthropic evening that included a gala dinner and an auction with items donated by Dolce & Gabbana, Argentine footballer Sergio Agüero and Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin.
"It's a very special event for me, we have been working for months to make this dream a reality, thanks to all the artists who came because they are part of this special moment for the youth of my country," Maluma told reporters.
Before the charity event, which was held for the first time in Colombia, the celebrities were received by the founder of Global Gift Foundation USA, Alina Peralta, who indicated that this "emotional night" showed "the humanitarian part of a great artist like Juan Luis (Maluma) ".
With a special energy, the Argentine singer-songwriter Noel Schajris, member of the duo Sin Bandera, opened the red carpet for which the model and actress Laura González, current universal virreina de la belleza, the exfutbolista Mario Alberto Yepes, the singer Andrés Cepeda also paraded and the Mexican band Reik.
