Magnin, fifteenth, and Lliso twenty-third in the slopestyle of Font Romeu

Acrobatic Ski World Cup in Font Romeu

For the fourth consecutive year, Font-Romeu Pyrénées 2000 has hosted a stage of the FIS Freestyle World Cup.

The Spaniards Thibaut Magnin and Javier Lliso finished fifteenth and twenty-third, respectively, in the test held this Saturday of the World Cup of ‘slopestyle’ of acrobatic skiing – or ‘freestyle’ – played at the French station of Font Romeu, which won Canadian Marl Hendrickson.

For Javier Lliso it is the 4th participation in a World Cup this season where he has already achieved two top 15 with 11th place in the big air of Modena (Italy) in November and 15th place in the big air of Beijing (China) of December.

Hendrickson won by a narrow margin, with 86.30 points, only six tenths more than the Swedish Jesper Tjader, a test that the American Cody Laplante concluded third, with 83.45 points.
