Madrid taxi drivers cut the M-40 again - La Provincia

A group of about 30 taxi drivers have re-cut on Thursday the Madrid ring road, M-40, in the vicinity of the access to the IFEMA fairgrounds. This court has lasted only a few minutes before the rapid intervention of police officers, who have evicted the collective.

The traffic cuts occurred around 7.50 in the morning, on the fourth day of protest over the taxi conflict. The fair of tourism Fitur, in IFEMA, has become since yesterday the scene of mobilizations of taxi drivers who demand an autonomic regulation of the VTC.

As reported by the Mobility Management Center of Madrid, minutes before another concentration has caused cuts of the Avenue of the Parthenon and the Capital Avenue of Spain, affecting the access to IFEMA.
