The Fan Zone of River Plate will be located in the Plaza de Cuzco, while the Boca Juniors you will find yourself under the bridge of Raimundo Fernández Villaverde street, in front of a well-known shopping area. Between both there will be a security area so there is no contact between them. It is expected that the fans of both teams arrive at the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport and that they will travel in buses to each of their respective areas. Throughout tomorrow, Wednesday, the exact number of fans that will fly from Buenos Aires to attend the final will be known.
The followers will have to exchange the receipts to have acquired the tickets directly in the points that Real Madrid will enable. In this way, it is also planned to control the number of people who receive the tickets.
Sources of the organization have explained that Real Madrid will finance activities and animation until the beginning of the game, at 20:30 on Sunday. The opening of the stadium will take place about 90 minutes before the start of the match, so that the fans enter with enough time, but without being too much in the stadium. It wants to stop any confrontation.
Las Rozas and Valdebebas
It is expected that Boca can train at the facilities of the Royal Football Federation, in the municipality of Las Rozas, Madrid, while River can prepare the meeting at the Ciudad Deportiva Real Madrid, in Valdebebas, near the Barajas airport.
Police sources have explained that the way in which the bill is passed from part of the cost of the device to the organizers is being studied, especially the travel expenses, allowances and accommodation of the Police Intervention Units (UIP, the riot police) that come from outside of Madrid to cover the meeting.
The Government delegate in Madrid, José Manuel Rodríguez Uribes, has convened a meeting with all the police commanders, especially the General Office of Citizen Security, at eleven in the morning of next Friday, in which the final deployment of the agents and where they will be located. So far, no figures have been given or even approximate numbers of troops. Of course, the number will exceed "more than" those distributed in other high risk parties, such as a Real Madrid-Barcelona. These get to mobilize up to 2,500 agents. Delegation sources explained that they are in permanent contact with the Argentine police and that agents are expected to travel from Buenos Aires to participate in the security device.
One of the aspects that is still unconfirmed is whether the Argentine president, Mauricio Macri, will travel to Madrid to attend the final. Device sources do not rule it out, but they recognize that it will not be known until the last minute for security reasons. In case he attends, the president of the Spanish Government, Pedro Sánchez, is also expected to go to the party.
The Madrid police have begun to monitor the radical followers of the Rayo Vallecano, the Bukaneros, since they are twinned with the ultras of the River Plate. The agents of the Provincial Information Brigade (dedicated to the fight against terrorism and anti-system groups) are controlling all their movements to prevent clashes with the rival fans, that of Boca Juniors, according to police sources.
The Bukaneros (some 300 followers) have already starred in Madrid some very violent clashes and riots with the National Police. Some interventions of the Information Brigade have ended with the requisition of abundant pyrotechnic material and with elements that can be used as weapons, such aswooden hoops -sharp shaped like a spear-, baseball bats, large screws, hammers and metal extendable fenders.
