The Macrofit chain of gyms is preparing to be able to reopen its doors on June 1 with the best security guarantees for its clients. After two and a half months of closure due to the fight against the pandemic, Macrofit elaborated a complete security protocol aimed at the health tranquility of its users.
“Since the first phases of citizen confinement were decreed, we have been closely following the measures that, at all times, have been approved by both the Government and the rest of the countries where facilities similar to ours operate, as well as collaborating active with IHRSA ( International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association), so that our users can return to their facilities in a totally safe way, “says José Calero, director of Macrofit.
At the moment, Macrofit reopens its doors to carry out individual training sessions in the weight room, functional areas and cardio areas, upon reservation that can be done easily through the web. This will make it possible “to keep the capacity limited, in accordance with current regulations, but facilitating one and a half hour access to clients, more than enough time in order to carry out complete and quality training and always in complete safety,” says Calero. .
For this, all the gyms have been redistributed guaranteeing the existence of two meters of distance between the machinery. Action protocols have also been established for staff and clients, such as hand and shoe disinfection at the entrance, placement of hydroalcoholic gel dispensers throughout the facility, disinfectant products accessible from any machine or work point, and redesign of the plans for cleaning, always with the aim of reaching that “optimum level of security”, says Calero,
This work of adapting the Macrofit facilities to the current health reality has been accompanied by the establishment of constant communication between the chain’s management team with all the workers of the eight centers currently active. A communication aimed at getting everyone’s commitment to the importance of protecting their own health and that of their clients once the doors of the facilities are opened on June 1st.
