Luis Enrique does not lead Spain to Malta for "family reasons" - The Province
The Spanish coach, Luis Enrique Martínez, will not lead the second qualifying match to the Eurocopa 2020, in Valletta against malt, for "family reasons of greater cause", as reported by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).
The second coach of the Spanish national team, Robert Moreno, will take the command at the Ta'Qali National Stadium after Luis Enrique has to be absent tonight "for reasons of force majeure".
The RFEF asks for "discretion" and "respect" for the privacy of the Spanish coach, who in Malta faced the eighth game since his arrival to the post.
