Livestock delivers the first 80,000 euros in emergency aid to those affected by the La Palma volcano

The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Cabildo de La Palma has paid the emergency aid that it activated in an extraordinary way to collaborate with the livestock farms that have been affected by the volcanic eruption and they have been forced to move.

This data was confirmed by the insular head of the primary sector, Manuel González, who has specified that these aids amount to a total of 80,000 euros, which have been articulated by the department he directs to help alleviate the conditions on the sector.

González recalls that there are 18 cattle ranchers who are displaced, with whom the Cabildo collaborated in the evacuation of the farms and with the transfer of the facilities of the El Paso dairy plant, among other tasks, in addition to managing the delivery of food donated.
