Live Moto 3 Grand Prix of San Marino 2022

Today Deniz Öncü starts from pole, the third of the season for the Turkish driver. Today he will try to get his first victory in the race. He is accompanied on the front line by Daniel Holgado and the Brazilian Diogo Moreira. This is the second consecutive race in which the Spaniard has started from the front row, while it is the third Grand Prix in which Moreira has started from one of the first three places.

Today Izan Guevara starts the race in 5th position on the starting grid, while Sergio García will have to come back in the race by starting from 13th place.

After a succession of races on the podium, the two were forced to retire at the British Grand Prix, while two weeks ago in Austria Sergio García was 5th, while Izan Guevara had to settle for 7th position.

We are now focusing on the Moto3 race preview, the first to start. As we said, the fight between Sergio García and Izan Guevara, the two riders who share a box in the GasGas Aspar Team, continues. Only five points of difference separate the first from the second and both have several Grand Prix practically nailing the results.

We review today's race schedule, the usual schedule for Grand Prix held on European soil. The action begins at 11:00 a.m. (peninsular time) with the Moto3 race. At 12:20 p.m. the Moto2 test begins, while at 2:00 p.m. the MotoGP test begins.

In Moto3, the duel continues between Sergio García and Izan Guevara, the two GasGas Aspar Team riders. The first has 193 points, while the second is only five behind. Dennis Foggia also has options to fight for the title, although he is 49 points behind the leader.

This in regards to MotoGP. In Moto2, the situation is tremendously tight with a single point difference between Ai Ogura and Augusto Fernández. The Japanese achieved his second victory of the course two weeks ago in Austria and overtook the Spaniard in the standings after he missed the podium (5th) for the first time in the last five races.

Jack Miller has finished on the podium in three of his last four races, the last two consecutively and has never managed three in a row in his eight MotoGP campaigns. The Australian driver has achieved five podium finishes in 2022, his best figure so far in the premier class (also five in 2019 and 2021).

Today Bagnaia starts the race from the second position on the starting grid, while the pole went to Jack Miller, his partner in the Ducati Lenovo Team, who obtained the first of the season and the first he has achieved since the Grand Prix of Argentina 2018. Fabio Quartararo, meanwhile, will start the test from the 8th position.

Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) has already claimed victory at the 2021 San Marino Grand Prix and the Misano – Marco Simoncelli circuit could be the first where he scores two MotoGP victories.

At the moment, Fabio Quartararo remains at the top of the drivers' ranking with 200 points, 32 more than Aleix Espargaró and 44 more than 'Pecco' Bagnaia. In this way, whatever happens today in Misano, the Frenchman is assured of continuing as the leader of the category.

After a start to the season marked by irregularities, with only one victory in the first seven races, Bagnaia has won in four of the last six, becoming the great alternative to Fabio Quartararo to win the top category title this season .

We are experiencing a full offensive from Ducati in this second half of the MotoGP Championship, especially from Francesco Bagnaia who has just won three in a row for the first time in his career in the top MotoGP category and today aspires to achieve fourth. The last rider to achieve four consecutive MotoGP victories was Marc Márquez in 2019 (five).
