LG company has announced its new smartphone of the V series, the LG V60 ThinQ 5G, with double screen, 5G connection and a larger battery to allow the multitasking function. LG has claimed that the device, which has improvements in audio, video and photography, has been designed to “maximize productivity and entertainment” of users. This new device is equipped with the Snapdragon 865 platform with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X55 5G modem, to allow a 5G multi-gigabit connection.
It has a double 6.8-inch FullVision OLED screen with a resolution of 2,460 x 1,080 pixels and an additional 2.1-inch monochrome front ‘display’ located on the outside of the secondary screen, where users can see notifications, the Time, date or battery without opening the double screen.
It also has a USB Type-C charging port, fingerprint sensor and a 5,000 mAh battery, as well as Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ fast charging technology.
The LG V60 ThinQ 5G, which measures 169.3 x 77.6 x 8.9 mm and weighs 214 grams, also includes the Android 10 operating system and IP68 dust and water protection.
The company has reported that the device will be available in blue and white in Europe, North America and Asia from next month.
The V60 ThinQ 5G will have two versions: 8GB of RAM and choose between 128 or 256GB of internal storage, which can be expanded with a microSD card up to 2TB.
