League of Legends highlights Latin American level before final in Bogota

Riot Games, the developer of the famous game of online battles League of Legends, highlighted the growth that has been the level of the competitors of that "electronic sport" in Latin America, skills that will be demonstrated this Saturday in its regional final in Bogotá

This April 20, at the Movistar Arena in Bogotá, the Argentine team Isurus Gaming will face the Mexican Rainbow7 in the final of the opening tournament of the Latin American League (LLA) of League of Legends, a video game in which the user chooses a figure fantastic with which participates in group battles.

With this competition, both Telefónica Movistar and Riot Games unified the leagues of Chile, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Nicaragua and El Salvador, where there are more than two million players.

The winner of the final will be awarded a prize of $ 112,000 and a position for the Mid Season Invitational (MSI), the second most important international tournament of this game and to be held this year in Vietnam.

The winner of the MSI will earn a percentage of the money that the fans deposit in a fund created by Riot Games, which so far reaches 5 million dollars and will close on October 29.

Fernandez also highlighted the support of recognized brands to these tournaments because they "recognize the potential" and said Mastercard is the main sponsor of their competitions.

Similarly, companies such as Mercedes-Benz, Dell, Gillette, L'Oréal and Predator, among others, have come together to support these initiatives for video game lovers.
