The meeting takes place in the midst of a diplomatic crisis between Spain and Algeria, who yesterday dismissed his finance minister, and after Sánchez gave a turn to the position of Spain regarding Western Sahara. In the meeting, the tenth between both leaders, the migratory flows between the two countries, police cooperation and Operation Crossing the Strait will be addressed.
In addition, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Albares, travels to New Delhi to meet his Indian counterpart, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, with the aim of strengthening bilateral relations and promoting trade between the two countries. Likewise, it is expected that a declaration on cultural and academic cooperation between the two countries will be signed.
