The Minister of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands, Blas Trujillo, has given a press conference this Thursday afternoon to announce new measures to combat the pandemic of coronavirus.
So, Lanzarote goes to level 3 alert for Covid and Gran Canaria remains pending its evolution until Saturday. If the bad data continues on that island on Saturday the decision would be made to go to level 3, which would take effect on Monday. For its part, Fuerteventura rises to alert level 2.
Instead, Trujillo has stated that if the evolution in Tenerife continues to be positive, at 00:00 on Monday it would go from 3 to 2, provided that the indicators continue to improve.
