Laila Ripoll and Mariano Llorente direct two dramaturgy and theater writing workshops – La Provincia

The selection of the aforementioned casting will be carried out by one of the reference playwrights of the current Spanish scene, Laila Ripoll, and the actor and director Mariano Llorente, both founders of the Micomicon company and awarded in 2015 with the National Prize for Dramatic Literature and the Max Award for Best Theatrical Authoring for his work The blue triangle.

As happened last year with the Colombian Fabio Rubiano, playwright who has written the text of the work The crime of Fuencarral street which will be released, under the direction of Mario Vega, from October 10 to 12 in the Pérez Galdós theater, Ripoll and Llorente from Madrid are responsible for the dramaturgy that will be released in 2020 with the conclusion of the Galdós Laboratory initiative, which is co-produced by the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Auditorium and Theater Foundation and Unahoramenos, with the sponsorship of the island's Cabildo. , Government of the Canary Islands, town hall of the city and the collaboration of the city council of Agüimes.

Laila Ripoll (Madrid, 1964) has served as an actress, dramatic author and stage director. His work has been translated into French, Romanian, Portuguese, Italian, Greek, English and Basque.

Mariano Llorente (Madrid, 1965) is an actor, director and playwright. As an actor he has worked with directors such as Rodrigo García, José Estruch, Ernesto Caballero, Juan Pedro de Aguilar, Heine Mix or Ripoll herself.
