labor exploitation in an agricultural company

A new case of labor exploitation in the Spanish countryside has led a businessman, owner of a fruit and vegetable company in Murcia, to be arrested and to face six acts of the Labor Inspection with sanctions that reach 600,000 euros, according to sources familiar with the process, due to the extreme conditions in which it had its workers to collect vegetables. These infractions include excessive hours, low wages, lack of contracts or having employees in an irregular situation.
