La Sirena continues its expansion plan despite the Covid and will close this year with 10 new openings




The mermaid has announced that it will continue with its expansion plan, despite the impact on the economy of Covid-19 and It has already been eight openings so far this year. This first store has been opened as a franchise, a modality with which La Sirena seeks further expansion.

The company, which owns throughout Spain 258 stores and employs more than 1,200 people, will thus close an exercise in which they have created 25 new jobs and almost 250 temporary hires for the next Christmas season.

The firm that is controlled by the British investment fund OpCapita also wants keep growing in the online channel and through its agreements with other distributors such as Eroski, Carrefour or Binepreu, as well as through its presence on platforms such as Glovo.
