Barcelona, May 19 (EFE) .- The basilica of the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona will open its doors again for visitors from Saturday, May 29 and will put individual tickets on sale from next Friday through its website .
For now, the temple designed by Gaudí, closed to tourism due to the pandemic, will open for all visitors only on weekend mornings (Saturdays and Sundays) from 09:00 to 15:00.
The Construction Board of the temple has reported that it is committed to the reopening, but always subject to possible changes according to the evolution of the current health situation, changes in the measures of the Generalitat and guaranteeing the viability of the visits.
In July of last year, the Sagrada Familia Foundation wanted to pay tribute to the citizens of Barcelona with the Barcelona Hour tickets so that locals could enter to visit the religious monument.
A part of the people of Barcelona, however, did not have time to do so due to the closure of October last year, so the postponed visits of Hora Barcelona are scheduled for this fall.
Those responsible for the temple have reported that they will contact by email with people who could not enjoy the visit.
