Big time Like the anniversary that comes face to face. 25 years of history that the International Festival of Benicàssim (FIB) It is basting with the announcement of fifteen new names for the poster that will appear on stage this summer, from July 18 to 21. A block of confirmations headed by Kings of Leon in his only date in Spain, Franz Ferdinand, Jess Glynne or You Me at Six, among many others, and which join the already announced brightness of Lana del Rey leading one of the nights of the FIB 2019 in its only national incursion, and to The 1975, The M.O.D.A or Blossoms.

The FIB opts for the classicism of the classics. Benicàssim will witness, once again, one of the best live bands on the planet. Kings of Leon will offer their only concert in Spain at the festival. Repeats (for the fourth time) in Benicàssim, territory that stepped on his last visit just a decade ago, in 2009, in the same edition that he did also the second name that feeds the machine fibera of 2019, Franz Ferdinand (present shortly after in 2015, together with Sparks). The Scottish band is a factory hits and "absolute guarantee of totally explosive and danceable performances", have stood out from the organization of the contest, which is directed by Briton Melvin Benn.

This 25th anniversary also includes musical premieres, such as the British George Ezra, one of the most successful artists of the current scene, who lands for the first time at the FIB with Staying At Tamara's, recorded entirely in Barcelona.

The accent british This new batch of names is consolidated with another direct triplet from the United Kingdom. That which is shaped by the pop whirl of a Jess Glynne who will visit Benicàssim with Always In Between; the band You Me At Six and the scenic discharge of its rock power; and the British producer duo Gorgon City, which will bring the essence of bass music and house to the Benicen concert venue for the first time.

Ezra Furman arrives from the United States crossing rock, love, gender, sexuality and religion. An "artist full of great songs" who will share the poster with the British Yellow Days, "a voice that signs arrows of indie rock that hit the target of the hit", they say from the organization of the International Festival of Benicàssim.

The national presence in this new release of artists goes through the absolute hymns thrown by the Madrid band Carolina Durante; Alien Tango, a pop armor with Murcian stamp to fun music, and the warm psychedelia of the Galician Bifannah closing the castizo circle.

The international projection continues with the Swedish Dj Seinfeld, one of the most charismatic names of the current electronic music; the technicolor pop of Superorganism (London) and the good indie rock melodies of the Londoners The Big Moon; and Sea Girls from Oxford.

With these fifteen names the FIB 2019 already silhouetted its musical bet, which premiered last November New York star Lana del Rey and that also integrates the great pop of The 1975; the overwhelming proposal with folk, country, punk and rock and roll influences from La M.O.D.A .; and the melodies of the Manchester Blossoms band, which will break into this 25th anniversary with a new album, Cool Like You. The effervescent pop, sunny and autotune of Cupid – the result of the union of the rap of Pimp Flaco and the indie of Solo Astra – also joined this poster premiere, together with the trio of pop punk Cariño, responsible for pills like Bisexual, Inappropriate Moment or Song Pop Of Love.

The FIB gathered 170,000 people of 25 nationalities in the four days of its 2018 edition. 40,000 daily attendees with the peak of 48,000 registered with The Killers.
