Kerem Bürsin will be the ambassador of Warm Fashion for its 25th anniversary


The event will take place next week, from October 21 to 24, at the ExpoMeloneras site in Maspalomas and will be attended by 38 designers and brands, 17 of them Canarian creators, 10 national, six international and five children’s swimwear brands.

To carryr the GCSWM by MC brand throughout the world and reinforcing the international image of Gran Canaria as a tourist destination, the catwalk will feature in this edition the presence as ambassador of the Turkish actor Kerem Bürsin, star of the series Love is in the Air. The new appointment increases its number of international brands with the presence of brands such as Melissa Odabash (UK), Alexandra Miró (UK), Oyesimwear (Turkey), Mama Maria (Holland), Miss Bikini Luxe (Italy) and Gottex (Israel).

Likewise, firms such as Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada, Dolores Cortés, Guillermina Baeza, Aurelia Gil, Nuria González, Elena Morales, TCN, Palmas, Gonzales, Chela Clo, All That She Loves, or Bloomers, among others, will participate. The novelties include a program of national buyers and another of international buyers from Italy, within the framework of a reverse mission organized with the collaboration of ICEX.

The first of the days, on Thursday, October 21, will celebrate two individual shows with TCN and Carlos San Juan, a triple one dedicated to emerging Canarian talent with the firms Laut, Suhárz and Román Peralta, and four double shows with the firms Diazar and Bohodot ; Like the Trout to the Trout and Alawa; Elena Morales and Dolores Cortés, while Chela Clo and Bloomers will close the session.

In this edition, Hola TV is incorporated as international television, a leader in fashion in Latin America, which will offer coverage in more than 20 Latin countries. Gran Canaria Swim Week by Moda Cálida will once again bet on optimizing its digital platform and it can be followed on the internet. The Minister for Industry, Commerce and Crafts of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, Minerva Alonso, stressed that this edition will be “the most international” in the history of the event, with 46 national and international media, open to Germany and Italy and “a Canarian identity that is not lost ».

The president of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, Antonio Morales, valued the work of 25 years of Moda Cálida, which continues with the objective of “diversification of the economy from the textile sector, designers, quarries of the future with young professionals” and with goals achieved such as boosting the international market, progress to sustainability and commercialization as a fundamental element. The president confessed “satisfied” and “happy with the work done” in an initiative that is “participated” and that “it is gaining presence in the whole of the State.”
