Everything happened very fast. It did not last three minutes. Aggression, like so many others, could have gone unnoticed - for the authorities, for public opinion, for statistics - if it were not for someone recorded it partially recorded with a mobile phone. The victim was Julia, a 31-year-old transgender woman, who was about to enter the metro in the Plaça de la République in Paris. The attackers were three men who insulted her, fondled her and beat her while a mob cheered them. The context, a country, France, in which the denunciations by transphobia increase every year and many remain unreported.
