Julen Lopetegui extends his contract with Sevilla until 2024

The coach of the Seville, Julen lopetegui, which completes his second season at the helm of Sevilla's squad and which ended his contract in June 2022, has extended it for two more campaigns, until 2024, as reported this Sunday by the Andalusian club.
The Basque coach, former Spanish coach, achieved in his first campaign the fourth position of the team in LaLiga Santander, tied on points with third, Atlético de Madrid, and being champion of the Europa League, a trophy that Sevilla won for the sixth time in its history.
Sevilla recalls in their statement that Lopetegui, who arrived at the Seville club after several dismissals as coach of the Spanish team and Real Madrid, is the coach of the team "with the highest percentage of victories in the history of the Nervión club".
"Sevilla FC and Julen Lopetegui have reached an agreement for the renewal of the Basque coach for two more seasons, thereby extending their link with the Nervión entity until June 30, 2024," says the entity's letter.
