José Tomás "puts on a cloak" at the Guadalajara hospital
José Tomás has donated a cape that will be auctioned to raise funds and help the Guadalajara University Hospital in the acquisition of medical supplies, Dr. Rogelio Pérez, director, in turn, of the foundation that bears the name of the bullfighter, has confirmed to Efe from Galapagar (Madrid).
The auction is now available through the Ebay platform, and will remain open until April 15.
This initiative arises from a group of bullfighting fans in the province of Alcarreña who got in touch with the bullfighter himself, who immediately agreed to donate one of his capes, dedicated and signed, in order to contribute his grain of sand in these difficult times. as a consequence of the health crisis due to Covid-19.
According to the José Tomás Foundation, other solidarity projects are also being worked on, which, if successful, will be announced in the coming days.
