John Müller: The Alzira Precedent



The legal battle between the Valencian Government and the group Ribera Health due to the reversion to the public sector of the Hospital de Alzira in April 2018, after almost two decades of private management, has yielded an unexpected result: a judgment of the Supreme Court that converts into jurisprudence the notion that the State must assess the repercussions and effects to assume the direct management of a public service in accordance with article 7.3 of the Organic Law on Budgetary Stability and Financial Sustainability (LOEPSF).
