The LPA International Jazz Day event will celebrate its 4th edition from April 29 to May 2. In the poster, which for another year has the musician José Alberto Medina, director of Fábrica La Isleta, stands out names from both the international and local scene. Among the list of artists are the trumpeter Andrea Motis, the sax Joan Chamorro, the trio led by Jaume Vilaseca, the singer and pianist Gabriela Suárez, the violinist Elia Bastida and the Municipal Symphonic Band with the guitarist Yul Ballesteros or the pianist Augusto Báez, among others.
The Symphonic Band, accompanied by the guest musicians Yul Ballesteros (guitar, composition), Ernesto Rossger (guitar), Olga Sánchez (voice) and Augusto Báez (piano) will star in the opening concert on Thursday, April 29, at 7:30 p.m. at the Miller Building. An afternoon dedicated to the best jazz in orchestral format.
