Goodbye to a history of Canarian sport. This Thursday, October 24, passed away Jesus Benjumea Ferrer, a historical athlete of the 60s and first president of the Las Palmas Automobile Federation since 1972.

I had tried other sports before. Between his different achievements, he became champion of Spain in Snipes and then in swimming he became part of 35 times in the national team of Spain in swimming, where he achieved a national record in the modality of 200 meters crol.

The burning chapel is in the San Miguel's funeral home during this Friday, October 25, starting at 4:30 p.m.
