The actress and co-producer of the film 'The Mother' was seen this Sunday by the surroundings of Vegueta and Triana accompanied by Ben Affleck, with whom she resumed her romantic relationship
It was a question that had been on the minds of many gossip photographers ever since it became known that
Jennifer Lopez would come to Gran Canaria to shoot:
Would the also actor Ben Affleck accompany herWith whom did you resume last year the sentimental relationship that you had broken years ago? Well, the answer is yes. This Sunday they were seen
as one more couple in the surroundings of Vegueta and Trianain the capital of Gran Canaria.
in Santa Ana
they were interested in some of the stately buildings that surround the square, while
in Triana, by the Plaza de Las Ranas, they stopped to sit on a bench. There was neither a court of bodyguards preventing them from being photographed nor people around with umbrellas preventing the photos, that is, the complete opposite of what happened when the filming of
'The Mother' moved to the Literary Cabinet.

Jennifer Lopez leads the cast of a film that she also co-produces and that Netflix is already promoting as one of its big releases for this year. In the film, Lopez plays a former assassin who leaves her retirement to save her daughter. She shares the leading role, among others, with Joseph Fiennes and Gael García Bernal, who also traveled to Gran Canaria for the shoot.
The direction of the film is in charge of the New Zealander Niki Caro, who directed the version of 'Mulan' with real actors for Disney.
The shooting of the film has had locations in San Bartolomé de Tirajana, specifically in El Salobre and the aeroclub; Arucas, in the Gardens of the Marquesa; and in the capital in the Literary Cabinet, Santa Ana, the Casa de Colón, La Isleta, San Cristóbal and also in Bravo Murillo.
The deployment of trucks and caravans for the logistics of the filming continued this Sunday in the Vegueta car park, next to the market.
In the movie for Netflix, all these locations will be presented as scenes shot in Cuba. The choice of Gran Canaria is due not only to the similarities with Central American architecture but, above all, to the tax incentives for audiovisual productions in the archipelago. Now, with the photos of Jlo with Affleck, the media impact abroad will be even greater.
