Italy lowers the curve with only 300 new infections but adds 92 deaths

Italy continues to bend the coronavirus spread curve and today records 300 new cases, the lowest number since the first days of the emergency, of which half (148) correspond to the Lombardy region.

The total number of cases since the virus was detected on February 21 is already 230,158, of which 141,981 have already been cured and 32,877 have died.

The deceased on the last day are 92, almost double the 50 reported on Sunday, but yesterday the deaths from Lombardy were not included because the data had not been received. Of the 92 today, 34 correspond to that region, the most hit in Italy by the epidemic.
